I agree that I don't like how the numbers round up so I try to make sure I even it out by the end of the week or month. Sounds like it was a good run if you were able to get lost in your music in that heat!

Nice hilly 7! Glad there was a little breeze for you but it sounds like you still looked like your jumped in a pool :-) If only you could have done that at the end!

@Rebecca - we live close to the Walhonding River - and believe me, I've jumped in there on multiple occasions to cool off :) Plus it makes for a nice "ice bath" in the cooler seasons...

So sorry your foot is really flared up right now! It is so much easier said than done to really give it the rest it needs. Maybe spend more time this week doing core, going for a bike ride, yoga, etc. to give the foot some time off! I will pray for a speedy recovery!! I know it can be so frustrating when all you want to do is run.

Beautifully written my friend. Next time (and I hope you did not make that promise to never run Boston again) we NEED to better plan and prepare. We WILL carry cell phones and be able to hook up at Athlete's Village and at the finish...goodness...that was crazy not to be able to do that after how hard we worked to both be able to be there at the same time. Anyways...never say never :o)
