Sorry to hear about your dad! I'm glad Finn is keeping your mom company (although I bet you miss him!) I'm slow, so Jake is very happy running with me - he can go for hours! LOL! Awesome if you can train Finn to be a therapy dog!

Thank you Diane. It was hard even though I am a Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner I am a daughter first... I do miss Finn and so do the cats, I swear when I didnt come back with him, they all sat at the garage door in the kitchen and waited and waited and then when it was obvious there was no Finn I wondered what exactly they had planned for me... Finn is the best, I dont mind he is slow! I know why you love Jake.

Nice workout - glad to hear you are feeling better! I try to consume a lot of vitamin C & D - my children bring home all kinds of nasty germs. It grosses me out how my teenage children share water bottles/drinks when they are playing their sports. Seriously - it is a perfect way to get something funky.

Oh no! I hope you get better soon. You probably had some crazy notion that you could sweat out your sickness:P Sometimes it's good to get perspective - eh? My husband had a really crappy day at work & then we found out a church member/neighbor down the street (the neighbor whose Collie bit me on my run Christmas eve) of ours had a massive heart attack, crashed into another neighbors yard & died. Sad. I guess you weren't expecting that! Neither were we:(

Your treadmill sounds fun - I did look that model up online. Very neat. Yikes - can't imagine a 12.5% incline! Stinko about falling during your 5k. The Santa Hustle was icy too - the last .5 mile was covered large patches of ice. I slowed down & tried running in snow off the path instead. There were people who got 6.34 min mile - but of course their feet never touched the ice with that time! lol Glad you are okay - injury free!
