  1. goodBreaktime Run 4.42 mi / 00:33 07:25 pace

Just a little shake-out at a slow pace during a break between conference calls. Going to run a few hard miles later when I get another break at 4-ish.

  2. goodLunch Run (late post) 7.1 mi / 00:48 06:47 pace

Weird sorta in-between pace for the lunch run today. Still a little junk in the legs from 20 on Saturday, so I didn't push it, but also didn't feel like going totally easy today. Made sure the first and last miles were slow, but the others were in th... read more

  3. greatLittle Pre's Long Run 5.11 mi / 00:41 07:59 pace

Took @LittlePre for a ride in the jogging stroller - awesome way to force myself to run a nice, slow recovery pace. Yea, this week was inconsistent, but I had a great fartlek workout and a great 20-miler, so no harm done. Normalcy next week?

@Peter: Routine, in our experience, is really comforting to a baby. The sooner you can find and stick to a routine, the better. My world gets messed up by travel, but I chose to be a management consultant, and it comes with the territory.

  4. This is for all the Kaiser Half runners tomorrow, but ESPECIALLY for Kathy S, who has been working hard on a plan I wrote for her. May you all Prefontaine your race tomorrow.

  5. goodTwo-Naught 20.04 mi / 02:22 07:04 pace

Mapped out a route with plenty of chances to cut it short if I wasn't feeling decent since my training has been inconsistent of late with work and travel requirements. Ended up doing the full plan plus an extra half mile to get to 20. Cruise control ... read more

@Heather: Yes! Me, my wife (Lindsay M.), and about 15 of the people in her PhD program are all running it. I'm in the LAST wave at 4:00, so I expect to have a big cheering section at that point.

  7. good2:2 Fartlek = Nasty. 8.39 mi / 00:55 06:30 pace

Ran this a few hours ago, but just now taking a minute to post. Holy eff, I am mean to myself. Today's workout was 2 miles warmup, then 4ish miles of 2 minutes fast (5:30-5:45 pace) : 2 minutes recovery, then 2 miles cooldown. Just. Plain. Evil. But ... read more

  8. I didn't catch my resting HR for the ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP challenge (that's the name, right?) first thing, but just took it now: 48. That's a little high for me, I'm generally in the low 40's. Have a good day everyone!

  9. Wicked hyped to be a part of the dailymile ambassadors team! Georgia is gonna get rocked by a seriously serious buzzsaw of dailymile fury. Piedmont Park meetup? Any other central places?

  10. goodLe Tour de Boeuf 9.03 mi / 01:03 07:00 pace

Ran by all sorts of cows today. Calves are funny this time of year: starting to try things on their own, but totally freak out when I run by. Bonus fauna: pigs, goats, chickens, annoying dogs, sleeping dogs, territorial dogs, and one lazy fat cat.
