My total run was actually 10+, but I goofed and forgot to switch the Garmin to run mode until I hit mile 1. Anyways, the total workout was 2 warmup, then 2 at my half PR pace, then 2 at my old marathon PR pace and my long shot hopeful someday marathon PR pace, then 2 more at my half PR pace negative split stylez, then 2 cooldown. Basically, just a fun way to log 10 quality miles and see if my legs are ready to race a half this weekend. Here's the Garmin stuff for the 9+ that were logged as run miles:

Looking forward to racing in Virginia Beach this weekend. Wonder how much trouble Earl is going to be causing us...

Quite a creative pace workout, but the bottom line is - impressive, and ready for a strong race. Best of luck! Seems like Earl would be the only thing that could slow you down.

Sweet running Caleb. Race paces? How about fast paces?

Don't worry about Earl, no issue. Nice run, no more speed before the RnR i hope....

Nope, no more speed at all! I'm running 12 or so tomorrow (doing the "tired legs" thing one more time), easy run Friday, short shake-out Saturday, then race. A half race is plenty of speed to round out the week.

Caleb, Sweet pace/distance! Seems like you have found your legs after the "lung butter". Have a great race, and kick Earl's butt.
