Today's plan: 12 miles on tired-ish legs after the 14 yesterday. Took it slow the first 2, then concentrated on cadence and turnover from miles 3-8 (these were all steadily uphill - reminded me why I curse this loop). Dialed it back for the last 2+ miles so I don't take too much tightness into tomorrow (off day from running, maybe a slow recovery cycle).

@Jim: Truth-be-told, I was inspired by your approach of running on tired legs to simulate the marathon. Of course I had to be an overachiever and go for double the miles...

To be truthful Caleb and give credit where credit is due I have to admit I got the idea from Joe's blog and have incorporated into my Hal intermediate II plan in place of his scheduled 4 and 5 mile runs ... not sure I will be able to do so every week twice a week but it is worth a try. Glad to see you are back - strong!
