Got in a few more miles at Bass Lake. 20 mins easy, then 10 x 30/30, then finished out the 5+ laps to get to 5 miles. Now hungry again.

@Larae: Nah, not dumb. Just alternating faster effort and recovery every 30 seconds (i.e. 30 on / 30 off). If you go check my history, you'll see that I do the same thing the run before a track workout almost every time. It's a moderate neuromuscular stimulus to "wake up" my faster-twitch muscle fibers before hard work on the track.
