Fun mix of paces this morning to shake all the junk loose after the long run yesterday. I met Peyton and Taylor and we jogged 2.5 miles to the Watauga HS track, then they did a workout while I jogged laps around the track. I jumped into a couple of intervals for fun (800 in 2:31, 200 in 30) but stayed away from the hard stuff as my hip flexors and quads are pretty well poached at this point. Jogged back to the cars with them for their cooldown (nice and slow, great feeling to be honest).
Heading to SF tomorrow. Anyone want to run on Monday afternoon? I'm not sure of my full work/meeting schedule yet, but there will always be a need to log some miles!

The track and facilities at Watauga are great.

@Sal: Yep, I love the surface. Really too bad that we *technically* aren't allow on the track, but it was luckily 100% deserted this morning.

Every time I head up to my folks place in Banner Elk I run early mornings at the track. Most times its a holiday or weekend so no school.
