Yep, all the work from the last few days definitely caught up with me on this one. Because of a travel day Sunday, today was my only chance to get a long run in. So, I took the morning off from work and headed over to the Cone. Originally had thoughts about going as long as 3 hours, but I was feeling pretty flat straight from the get-go. The weather was also weird - combo of high winds (steady at 25 mph gusting to 40+), misty rain, and temperature dropping from 48 to 38. So, I decided to cap the miles at 23 (or 2:45 time on feet).

First 1:15 was by myself, then Peyton joined for the second loop up to the Manor and back down, then I finished off the balance by myself around the lake (quads are totally cooked after hitting a big hill yesterday and running some quicker miles the day before). I'll be honest, I was happy to get to my planned mileage cap and S.T.O.P.

That makes 97 miles in the last 7 days with no doubles. Next weekend I should have enough time in between long runs to go ahead with the full 3:00 or more...
