Well folks, it's been MONTHS since I've ran, but after I cut the grass this afternoon I told Wifey to get me a pair of my running socks. I slipped those on, slipped into the ol' running shoes and it felt like I was literally stepping into where I was supposed to be.

I wonder if I'll ever have the time to run like you guys/gals do. It just seems that my life is so busy and hectic that I have time for everyone and everything except for myself.

Work, College, family, kids (a daughter who's 8, a son who's 2, and one due in November) I wonder if I'll ever have that precious time to treat myself (and my body) to a run.

I figure worst case scenario, when my sons get a few more years on them I can take them running with me, until then I may have to be a perennial "Couch to 5K" kinda guy.

I hope not though, tonight while I was running it hurt, but oh how the mind doesn't forget how good it can feel after you push through that hurt.

I've ran one half-marathon to date, and I ran it with a sinus infection, I don't want that and I won't let that be the only half-marathon of my life. I'm determined to outdo everything I've already done, I just need time. If anyone has some spare time, I'll take it.
