    last night: took a dive & ended up at the emergency room! look like i have been in a fight - black eye included! right arm in a sling & home from work....yikes! note to self.... don't run when tired! :)

    Did speedwork again, it was kinda fun! Not really sure about the distance, got all screwed up.... technical difficulties.... what can I say? :)

    So, my personal trainer was trying to kill me...... speedwork consisting of "fartleks?" 2 min running, 2 min walk for recovery, then dropping about 10 seconds for 2 min, etc until I was doing 8.5 min miles, which is pretty fast for me!!!!

      Ouch, I saw the graph of that fartlek (could they come up with a worse name???) on my upright bike, it looks brutal. Nice work!

      I kinda like the dog idea! haha! anyway, I actually liked doing the speed workout and it went so fast!!!!!! I couldn't believe when I looked down and we had done over three miles! I am looking forward to doing it again, hopefully at least once a week......

      Great job, I dread doing speedwork but maybe I'll try that approach, sounds more interesting than "run really fast for a half mile"

      i think the extra heel is supposed to keep your feet from rolling inward. yeah, it's probably gonna take some time to adjust. I'm supposed to be wearing these too, but so far have stuck with neutral to mild stability shoes because i don't like the "built-up" feeling.
