Started with 3m/1m run walk intervals and adjusted the intervals as needed, finishing with 2m/2m intervals, which not only allowed me to finish the run comfortably, but let me recover on the fly. Felt good that I was sensitive to the need to slow down early enough to keep from getting to the point of no return :-)
