  7. FIT
blah Boxing at Title One 01:00

Really trying to decide if the cost is worth it. If the workout gets me motivated, I think it's worth it. Just a very expensive pill to swallow.

  8. FIT
good Boxing at Title One 01:00

First fitness class in a long time. Felt good, but I know I am going to be sore tomorrow.

  9. walk
    good 1 mi 00:15:00 15:00 pace

  10. FIT
good Golf with the BF 02:00

First time we golfed together and we had a great time. Well I did. Driving is good, but my short game needs some work. I'll have to work on my game before the BF comes back into town.

  11. FIT
    good 01:30

Went to the long hot class at Firefly East on Sunday. Cj was amazing (as usual). Glad to be back in the swing. My shoulders are screaming today, in a good way.

  12. RUN
    good 2.5 mi 00:38 15:17 pace

It was blazing hot yesterday, so I opted for the treadmill. I started out jogging 5 straight minutes, but once I take my first walk break, I never seem to be able to get back into a rhythm. Going t... read more

  13. RUN
    blah 2 mi 00:32 16:00 pace

Did laps on the runway at work. Was nice to get out while it was still cloudy and a bit cooler. A lot slower than I wanted. Keeping the faith that I'll fall in love with running one of these d... read more

Did intervals on the gazelle. Killed my legs, but in a good way. Nice to have a mostly empty gym. Looking forward to more weights and HIIT on Sunday.

  15. FIT
    great 00:45

Slapped together a full body program for the gym. Have the groin injury scare made me realize cross training and weights are just as important as my runs!

Fair night on the courts. No pain in my groin (woooohooooo). Looking forward to tomorrow's workout.

  17. Calling all runners: I am having terrible cramps in my lower legs, particularly on the sides of my calves, during my training runs/walks. Any tips on how to alleviate this pain? Specific stretches ... read more

I usually just walk the first bit maybe .10-.25 depending on my loop. I'll add some dynamic warmups. I always stretch afterwards, usually with a short yoga session. I do the dropped heal stretch.
