Phwew, this was a wet one! It has yet to be determined as to whether I was actually running or swimming. I was grateful for cloud cover as I set out a bit later than usual (just after 630am). The temperatures were not bad but I was wet from head to toe just a few miles in. The legs felt good. I took it easy and remained relaxed, enjoying my wet, morning miles. I did drop the pace a little too much at mile 8, but I couldn't help it. The girl in front of me was begging to be chicked. Did and done, cruised until she was safely out of sight and slowed it back down. How awful am I? Hard to believe it is already Saturday!
