Somehow I forgot to put my bibs and a jersey into my bag when I packed it yesterday morning. I knew it was only a 5 mile ride to meet Jenn at Endorphin once she was done working out, so I put on my best hipster impersonation. I rolled up my right jean... read more

The best rides are sometimes the ones in which you are able to zone out and just ride. Legs didn't really bother me and my cardio seems to be getting better despite the fact that the HRM said my max heart rate was 230. It read over 200 a number of ti... read more

Legs felt really good today at least while on the bike. Now that I sit here on the couch they are wanting to cramp. Guess I need to start hydrating more now that the weather is getting warmer and I am actually sweating on the bike.

Jenn and I decided to try and ride in a place this week. We used the cue sheet supplied by a mapmyride user. Let's just say it is not the first time I have gotten lost and probably won't be my last. I will add that getting lost on roads you don't kn... read more

Felt pretty good to be out on a nice day. Energy was zapped by the headwind on the first half of the ride. My legs and lungs felt good on the climb up Old Gun. Now to just get my climbing rhythm back and all will be well. Now I am enjoying a glass o... read more

Andrew rode 12 miles in 1 hour and 27 mins goodPSP Fire – 12 mi / 01:27 8.3mph pace
Hit up the PSP fire-roads with Nate. I am now unsure how the algorithm for determining how many calories were burned. Not quite sure I truly burned all of the 1087 which DM claims. Ah well, it was a fun ride and I was outside so who cares!

Got attacked by all of those pesky indoor hills. Have no fear though, Jenn and I grinded them out like champs. New heart rate strap wasn't tight enough so I have no juicy data, booooo

Andrew rode 10.6 miles in 47 mins good 10.6 mi / 00:48 13.3mph pace
Rode with Nate up through Ashland, that was until he caught a flat and neither of us had a tube or someone to call. I was able to control my heart rate and actually keep it in the target zone for 29:15. I was only above the zone for 2:26 which was pr... read more

I wonder if AAA would have come to our rescue. Technically a bike is a vehicle right? Our luck they would have only had schroeder tubes on them in the truck :-/

I must have been out a little earlier than you or we were riding in concentric circles. I twas a little breezy but a really nice day
22 days agoWe didn't start the ride until almost 4 due to all of the errands we were all trying to get done prior to riding. I know, I know our priorities were a little skewed and we have no one to blame except for everyone else who had nothing to do with it ;-P
