Super awesome run tonight! It felt pretty humid as I was sweating a ton but yeah!! I ran about 11:15 min miles on the way out (2.2 miles) and 9:15 minutes on the way back. It felt really good to speed up actually and get my heart racing a bit more than it was at for the first few miles. GPS was only off by .4 miles tonight too! (fixed) Good run! Now to the climbing gym!!
*edit* I just noticed too that this import actually shows close to accurately the distance that I ran, which makes me happy. My garmin picked up 3.98 miles so it didn't even hit 4. By the trail system I know the route I ran is 4.4 now. I've just been double checking all the gps imports trying to figure out why elevation and gps seems to look wacky. Elevation seens mostly correct except for the big drop at mile 2.5, except map my run has it mapped differently with a gradual elevation climb over the first mile 1/2. I guess that makes sense as I am usually faster out than in, but there are certainly up and down hills! Who knows. My garmin seemed to pick up some strange elevation gains too as it totaled elevation gain around 1,000 again, when I know it's closer to 300. Bizarre!

Wow, those are HUGE negative splits! Nice work!

Yeah, I was actually thinking someone was supposed to catch up with me on the way out which is why I slowed, but when I turned around I started to get worried and realized they probably weren't coming. But the running back super fast felt great! Kind of made me think I should push myself a little more often as I can certainly run it now!

It actually wasn't too hot or humid elsewhere, but for some reason it was humid on the trails! Maybe it was just hanging around in the higher elevation, who knows! :)

I felt so fast on the way back, I loved it! I realized that I run a lot of my weekly workouts a lot slower than I can run (although I can only keep the pace for a couple miles right now!) It's only track night where I push beyond and run sub 9 minute miles. I'm thinking it might be good to incorporate a little more speediness here and there in at least another run during the week. This reminds me: one of the teams from the relay was "Excuse our Fartleks" heh :)
