Another wonderful run! I always mention the break I took from running around christmas and how out of shape I became because of it. But despite hated the aftermath of taking that break, the one good thing it is now I can appreciate running so much more! Don't get me wrong, I loved running before. But I think I was at a point where I really needed to just step back from running (not stop completely) for a bit because it was starting to feel more like a chore than something I enjoy. I was so busy with finals and stressed over whether or not I should change my major, that running 63 miles a week was not supposed to be at the top of my priorities but I kept trying to put it there with so many other important things. Sometimes I just need to step back and give myself a little breather. But having gone through losing my ability to run long distances and finally gaining it back, I can thoroughly appreciate every single run and thank God for this gift He has given me. I know that with every run in the morning, that is exactly what God wants me to be doing. I never have to ask myself "should I be running?" Because the answer will always be yes (unless I'm injured for some reason or cross training)
