It's getting better. The doctor advised me to cut back on my miles then gradually increase, about 1 mile a week. I'm up to five now, so soon I'll be able to do longer distances. The new shoes definitely help! One of the contributing factors to my toe injury was that my running shoes were too old and worn out.
