    Tired.

  4. RUN
    good 13.1 mi 03:31 16:07 pace

Cold, windy, rainy. Chris and I ran the Shamrock Half Marathon. It wasn't our best, but we persevered through a very tough start and a very tough middle of the race around Fort Story.

  5. RUN
    great Shamrock Townebank 8K 4.97 mi 00:54 10:56 pace

Sub 11-minute miles at the Shamrock 8K. Not as fast as I used to be, but I felt great.

  6. RUN
good Cousler Park 3.1 mi 00:34 10:49 pace

Keeping it under an 11-minute mile. I WILL get back down to a sub 30 5K this year. Last run before Shamrock 8K and half this weekend.

  7. RUN
great Under Armour Kelly St. Patric... 3.1 mi 00:33 10:43 pace

This is a lot faster than I've been training lately. I was helped by the long descent on Charles St at the beginning of the race. 4-5 years ago I'd have been pissed at this time, but I ... read more

  8. RUN
good Mt Wolf 5 mi 01:17 15:24 pace

Ran the first 4 miles at about a 17:00 min mile pace with Chris for our last "long run" (tapering), and then sped up for the last mile.

  9. RUN
    great Manchester-Mt. Wolf Hill Run ... 3 mi 00:33 11:06 pace

I ran this distance perfectly and held nothing back. Shaved 70 seconds off my time from last week on this brutally hilly course.

  10. RUN
alright Mt Wolf -- Friday Night Long Run 10 mi 02:51 17:07 pace

2nd week in a row that my wife and I did "Friday Night Long Run". Last week's 8-miler was a lot more fun and we both felt a lot better. Still, 10 miles is 10 miles. We'll fin... read more

  11. RUN
    great Manchester 4 4 mi 00:48 11:56 pace

Angry post-work run. Good pace. Except for long runs, I'm trying to keep my pace under 12:00 minute mile and slowly get my speed back. My 5K, 8K, 10K and 13.1 PRs are all probably behind me... read more

  12. RUN
    good Manchester 3 mi 00:35 11:35 pace

Felt good...but I feel like I just can't go fast. Felt like i was pushing but still not approaching old regular pace.

  13. RUN
    great 8 mi 02:13 16:38 pace

Friday Night 8-miler through Mt. Wolf

  14. RUN
    blah Manchester 3 mi 00:37 12:24 pace

Stomach felt gross during this 3-miler.

  15. RUN
    alright Manchester 7 mi 01:25 12:05 pace

Breathing better than last week's long run, but my feet felt like crap. The toes on my right feet and the bottoms of both feet hurt so much.

  16. RUN
    good 3 mi 00:35 11:30 pace

3 boring miles in the local school parking lot.

  17. RUN
    alright 5 mi 00:59 11:43 pace

Definitely felt like a struggle. Wheezing the whole way. Legs tired. Pace was good, though.

  18. RUN
    alright 2.5 mi 00:30 12:00 pace

Treadmill on business trip. Treadmills are weird. I'm running about a 12-minute mile these days but I felt like I had to set this considerably slower to keep up, and then went a little slower... read more
