    A nice solid 20 I feel good about. Starting to worry marathon day will be 85 degrees and I won't know how to deal with it.

    35:04 for the 5k. Tougher course than I expected. Enjoyed doing something quite different.

      Yeah, been looking at the pix and vids...VERY nice event! I was talking with Tim all week and found the color guard for him last minute (thank you to Dave Burke at the Marine Corps League because those need to be scheduled in advance!) and it looked as though I could make it, but it is crunch time at Shedd Aquarium and I've been working b2b weekends for the last 7-8 weekends or so. Next year I am going to be sure I have the day off, no matter what. :-)

    Liesurely jog. Throw off the shirt and slide the sunglasses on. If I had thought ahead I would have had a beach towel to take a nap on.

    Someone talked me into two mile repeats. Two mile warmup, 14:23, 14:25, the last one turned into a 7:25 mile and a one mile cool down.
