Ran 5 miles on the trails and grass at Woodland Mound Park. Ran a 1.2 mile trail loop 3 times timed with 2 minute jog after and tried to run progressive negative splits on each one (on tired legs from yesterday's track work). Was able to do it but the last one was extremely hard and I had to dig coming up the last hill. Hit 10:45, 9:30 and 8:07 for those trail loops with the rest of my running (easy) on grass. Felt pretty good about the workout and it was good prep for my August trail race.
Also, I forgot to mention some great news the other day. Jenny Hadfield of the "Ask Coach Jenny" column from Runner's World added the Simple Hydration Bottle to her preferred Gear list. To make her list she personally tests it, highly recommends it and personally uses it. A big THANKS to Jenny. Very cool.
