Ran 4 miles total on the track - wanted to see if my muscle memory was still there for some speed work - goal to hit 200s around 45 (6 minute pace). Did 1 mile easy warm up in 8:30. Then ran 1 mile in 200 on 200 off until mile completed - hit 7:16. The 4 200s on were in 41, 43, 45 and 43 with the 200 offs somewhere around 65. Took a 2 minute break to dump water on the head and hydrate then did another 1 mile the same way. Hit the 4 200s on in 41, 43, 44 and 42 with 200 offs in about 60 for a 6:51 mile. Then did a mile cool down in 9:00 minutes. Overall pretty happy with it. Not as smooth as I would have liked but great to see the speed is still in there somewhere. Hope everyone else had a nice workout today.
