      Hate that, and my Garmin does it all the time. The frustrating thing is, I have a Garmin because they're supposed to be more accurate than a GPS app on your phone. For much of last fall's running, my experience was that IF (and I mean IF) it's true, it's not true by much. My Garmin was off by more than .1 miles OFTEN. That makes it no better than my phone really. So, if that's the case why would I buy a new Garmin? It makes me wonder about the whole issue of designed/programmed obsolescence

      To be 100% fair, the same thing happens with my 'smart phone'. The same types of bonus tenths or getting shorted a tenth. OR, kind of losing the signal and ending up with a 'mile' that's not even close to a mile. Still, my overall point is it's hard for me to justify spending any extra cash to buy a new Garmin when the one I have doesn't out perform my 'smart phone' in terms of accuracy.

    Was signed up for a 5K but it was 40 degrees and raining hard so I took it to the treadmill instead -- where I discovered that my legs were kind of tired.
