Nice job, Brett! It is a tough "race" but fun and you can't beat the entry fee. Looks like you had a great day for it.

Dave - just a clone. 6 miles was enough for me yesterday. Especially after skiing all day on Saturday.

Awesome race Brett! It is a long day indeed. I'm perhaps in the best shape I've been in since I was 18 years old (30 years ago), yet doing a half IM seems rather daunting to me. Hell, just swimming 1.2 miles seems daunting to me. Congratulations!

Thanks Peter! I'm with you in that I'm probably in the best shape I've been in since I was 18 too, but yes, the half IM distance was daunting for me as well. I just tried to manage my expectations and tell myself that finishing is a great accomplishment.

I'm glad to read that you're a little nervous too because I already have the prerace jitters. Especially with packing, "Did I remember this item? Do I need this?". We've all trained well for this race and we'll crush it! I'll see you Sunday! Good luck at Pumpkinman!
