I did this run right after my swim so maybe that is why I had a hard time with my heart rate. I was supposed to do at least half of it in Zone 2 and avoid 3 and above. Before I started my HR was at 42 or .6 of my MHR but at the first step I was at 3.8. I ran slow for about a mile and it came down to under 3 but after about 35 minutes it kept creeping up. So the last couple of miles I felt like I was just crawling trying to bring it back down again. Oh well, the good news is I was chomping at the bit to go faster. It feels nice to have that added energy.



Sounds like you didn't fully recover before the run Ann. You are truly a superwoman with, both the swim and run!
