Crazy day so headed out to my loop for a good run. Slight cloud cover and a bit breezy 70 degrees made for a good run. Legs are a bit tired so didn't push anything. My horse has hives again...ugh..so the barn got pressure washed...he got a bath...his stall got hosed down. Back on some drugs...

Ha! Ric...my horse of course!! Heavy dose to get the hives under control...not good for his liver but have to knock it back so he does not end up with breathing issues. Then I have a low dose to try and keep him from any further reactions until the pollen counts come down. Think he is having a reaction to the pollens. The counts are off the charts right now due to no rain...all the grass seed fields and the windy conditions. Poor guy

I frankly find it amazing a horse is allergic to pollen. It's like a cow being allergic to your daisies.

The medicine for animals is so amazing these days - I hope he or she gets relief soon - all those horse flys would kill me if I was a horse. They drive me crazy

This is the first year he has ever got hives...just like us, our body changes as we get older...plus the pollen counts are off the charts this year with the dry spring. Raining this weekend so that should help. If it doesn't it means its not the pollen and back to the guessing game
