Back off week for milage so kept it shorter. Pushed on the one downhill...not a good downhill runner so need the practice

    Nice run! Yes, downhills need practice. I keep trying to do what they tell you, which is to just lean forwards and don't brake with every step. Problem is that I end up going so fast I can barely control things...

    Thanks! I am the same way...want to break going downhill. When I don't I feel out of control. Maybe that just means I am little bit of a control freak....true! lol Learn to let go....learn to let go..haha

    or it means you're not a crash-headfirst-at-15-miles-per-hour freak. :) Downhill can be scary. But I have found that my falling down rate has improved substantially over the years. I guess the body figures out what it needs to do

    I want to run more trail to increase my coordination, but there is nothing but gravel road or mud close by after work...gota love the northwest...lol

    At least the risk of injury goes down when you are running on mud. However, the risk of injuring one's pride goes up
