Are you still nursing? I had to eat a ton of calories until I weaned my daughter at a year. Now I can run as many miles as I want and stay the same weight.

Whatever it is hope it goes away. If not maybe go to the doctor. I know sometimes my anxiety feels like that when I have a lot on my mind.( which we do right now)

You'll do great! Just do not have a time goal. My plan for my first was to do it just to finish, and then somehow I switched gears and set a goal for myself. Had a horrible race and missed my goal by 55 minutes. My original goal was to finish the whole thing without walking (which I did). I was so disappointed with my time which took away from the sense of accomplishment I should have felt from completing the race.

I'll try not to have a time goal, but I know I'll be disappointed if I go above 4 hours. I'm too competitive! But, I'm going to take training slow and log the miles and see where that takes me mentally. :) Thanks, ladies!

That stinks. My Y recently changed the policy so I can run outside now. There is a park right behind the Y that has a 1 mile loop we have to stay on. Have you talked to anyone there about it?

Took the girls for a walk. It was one of the last nice days this week, and they live the stroller so I had to go. :)
