    Upper body weights today. Worked chest, shoulders, arms and abs. Did some machines I've never tried before, and then did pushups. Definitely feeling it in my arms!

      Are you still nursing? I had to eat a ton of calories until I weaned my daughter at a year. Now I can run as many miles as I want and stay the same weight.

      I'm not sure. I feel fine other than a runny nose, so I don't know what it is. My runs last week were normal.

      Whatever it is hope it goes away. If not maybe go to the doctor. I know sometimes my anxiety feels like that when I have a lot on my mind.( which we do right now)

    Felt off today, so cut my run short. Chest felt tight and it was hard to get a good breath. Horrible run.

  16. Agreed to run my first marathon in October. Someone, encourage me, pretty please? I'm nervous already!!

      You'll do great! Just do not have a time goal. My plan for my first was to do it just to finish, and then somehow I switched gears and set a goal for myself. Had a horrible race and missed my goal by 55 minutes. My original goal was to finish the whole thing without walking (which I did). I was so disappointed with my time which took away from the sense of accomplishment I should have felt from completing the race.

      I'll try not to have a time goal, but I know I'll be disappointed if I go above 4 hours. I'm too competitive! But, I'm going to take training slow and log the miles and see where that takes me mentally. :) Thanks, ladies!

      That stinks. My Y recently changed the policy so I can run outside now. There is a park right behind the Y that has a 1 mile loop we have to stay on. Have you talked to anyone there about it?

    Took the girls for a walk. It was one of the last nice days this week, and they live the stroller so I had to go. :)
