  1. walk
    great 1.87 mi 00:35 18:42 pace

Was a nice walk. Just got out in time to miss a t- storm, but enjoy a cool down!

  2. walk
great Hannah park 1.96 mi 00:32 16:19 pace

Nice morning. Oliver rode his bike and at times I had to slow down when he started getting tired at the end.

  3. walk
good Hannah Park 1.96 mi 00:32 16:19 pace

Walked with hubby and Oliver rode his bike.

  4. walk
    good 1.48 mi 00:27 18:14 pace

Felt nice out after the storms cooled things down today.

  5. walk
    great 1.48 mi 00:23 15:32 pace

    Nice walk, beautiful morning!

  6. walk
    great 1.05 mi 00:18 17:08 pace

Felt really good. No pain. Actually can tell that my upper legs feel stronger. Beautiful morning too!

  7. walk
    great 1.05 mi 00:20 19:02 pace

Felt like a really good walk today. No knee pain. Only a little tightness in my left calf. Definatly noticing the difference in upper leg strength that PT is giving me already!

  8. PT went well today. Lots of stretches and strengthening to do. Leg raises are at 15 reps right now. Gotta get up to 40-50 in a few weeks hopefully!

  9. walk
    good 1.05 mi 00:20 19:02 pace

Knees hurt just a lit. Calves felt good.

  10. Ok, so it's PT for me! Sounds like no running for a few weeks while I strengthen muscles for runners knee.

Oh no, sorry to hear that! You'll have to tell me how the PT goes.

Better than the alternative. Dr said if I would have ignored it I could have cause permanent damage to the cartilage over time. He also said the 1.5 - 2 miles was too much to start. It will be interesting to see what the PT recommends to get me running! :)

  11. Going to sports med/ ortho doc this afternoon about my knees. Walking alone is now hurting and they are getting super stiff. Ugh.

  12. walk
alright Treadmill at the Y 1.57 mi 00:25 15:55 pace

Knees bugging me so after 2 60 sec runs I walked. Thinking I need to do some strength training to help myself along...

Whenever I'm getting back into running, rather than my knees, it's my head and jawbone that bother me. Crazy, no?! It takes about 5 weeks of running before those two things feel acclimated.

  13. RUN
    tired Home 1.89 mi 00:30 15:52 pace

Was kinda tired today from caring for a sick child this week. My allergies also kicked my butt, I walked two of the 8 60sec runs because of them affecting my asthma. The tree pollen will keep me ... read more

  14. RUN
    good Treadmill @ the Y 1.59 mi 00:30 18:52 pace

Week 1 run 2: went much better this time. Walked and ran slower on the treadmill because I am still sore from first run. Shins hurt a bit on the treadmill. 3:2 breathing went better. Wanted to... read more

That C25K program has made running so much more doable and enjoyable for so many runners. I think I got back into running shape faster with C25K than I have in the past with starting out with only running.

  15. RUN
    Hannah park 2.1 mi 00:30 14:17 pace

C25K week 1: workout 1 - Felt okay with starting 60 sec runs. Really difficult by the last run. Asthma flared up a bit at the end, most likely due to allergies this time of year. Also had a bit o... read more

      Jackie F. Nice Job
      Nice Job:

That 3:2 breathing is still a WIP for me - I'm wondering if maybe it will always be like that. I usually do it for the first 10 minutes in and then quit focusing on it unless I'm feeling bad. WAY TO GO!!
