Fun small town race on a long course. I haven't ran a 5k for almost a year and still have no top end speed lol. One of these days I will figure out how to race these. The hill at the end was nice, that's where I picked off a guy. Almost had the 2 xc kids but they had a stronger kick. A BYU girl put the hurt on everyone. I placed 4th and had fun. Won a cooler for being 3rd male. Fun to run with Mom and cheer her in. Happy 4th to those who celebrate it!

Congrats on a nice race Brandon. I'll bet this 5K seemed very foreign to a strong endurance runner like you.

Good lord--I would love to know your definition of top end speed. Fitting 4th place finish on the 4th. And I am jealous of your cooler prize...

Looks great to me for a summer 5K! I bet if you do one in the early fall you'll kill it.

Fast pace man! I am a Ute fan so I think a little tripping or throwing of stones would have been in order before I let a Coug beat me. Thats just how I roll.
