Monday morning recovery 5.56 mi 01:00 10:47 pace

Easy recovery run to start off the week. I did a 10 minute run / 1 minute walk pattern today, to make sure I kept the effort light and gave my legs a good chance at loosening up and recovering. The early Monday morning meetings I had been having for the last 8 months are done for a while now, so I can back to doing my Monday runs in the morning. And with how busy we will be for the next 7 weeks with baseball and softball games in the evenings, I don't anticipate having much time in the afternoon to get a run in.

Not much to report. Legs started out sore, but loosened up nicely during the run. Temps were a little bit cooler, although still pretty warm, but I was blessed with a nice light rain drizzle to keep me cool. Followed the run with myrtle and pedestal (50s) routines, static stretching, and a set of pushups. I was pleasantly surprised at how good my legs felt post run after stretching and doing the other extra work.
