      Fun speed play Brad. I think I read that same article on the Kenyans and how they will push to the point of blow up vs trying to pace to completion. It feels good to just run hard until you just can't run any longer.

      Running is so mental sometimes. But glad you're still easing it in. Didn't know about Boys on the Run; would like to hear more sometime. I am a coach and Liasion for Girls on the Run in the middle school during fall and elementary school in the spring. I love it; those kids leave me so inspired. I never knew that feeling before.

      I. tell me you what. I noticed a significant reduction of knee tightness when I had to travel for work and steer left my roller and protek strap at home for a week. I have only rolled once in 3 weeks and that was purely for maintenance. I. wonder if you are rolling to the point of inflammation.... who knows....

      Strong run to end the week Brad. Glad things continue to improve and hold together for you. And for what it is worth, I think most runners would tell you they feel something on most runs. But I know you are more than ready to have a completely feeling it-free run. Hope that happens soon.

      Great 5. I usually have some feeling on my runs too. My rusty feeling today was my left foot the first mile. I watched the way I was running and it did go away. Focus on form. You are coming back stronger.

      Great movie. I know it hasn't been easy sticking to the rehab, but you seem to be near the end of the tunnel. This whole rehab should make you a better stronger runner.

      I sometimes find I am able to enjoy what is going on around me when I run without music. Sure makes night running fun when the deer and squirrels try to take me out. I am really glad that the running is coming back for you.

      Nice to see a tech-less run every once and a while. It has made a huge difference in my ability to just go and enjoy these kinds of runs. Weird about the knee--hopefully it is just something fleeting--unless you have been paying over-attention to the injured side and it is feeling neglected...

      @John - My left leg & ITB feel great, no problems whatsoever. But ironically my right knee started to give me some pain this weekend when I was in Minnesota. It's a different soreness (and location) than my left knee, and it also bothers me when I just walk around; which the ITB-knee never did. Not sure what it is, but it kind of annoys me that my left side is getting back to good health and now the right is making me paranoid. Hopefully its nothing and will clear in a few days.

      I hope the right knee clears up. Maybe you had a weird foot fall during the run that tweaked the knee? Whatever it is I hope it clears quick. You have gone through the rehab and deserve some great running.
