    Great ride today. Started out with a fast 20 mile pre-ride with Linda, Cash and others. Took it nice and easy on the 100k, remembered my salt tabs and feeling great post ride. Happy Independence Day!

    Great course and rode with Jon. Started out cloudy and breezy, but it got dang hot when the sun burned off the clouds. Legs got toasted on the hills but kept the pace above 16.

    Only an hour slower than I normally run. I forgot to put electrolytes in my bike water and paid dearly on the run. Lesson learned! I finished my first 1/2 Ironman so it's all good!
