Helloooooooooo taper! Great run with Eric K. with the DFMC group. We averaged a great pace here, came in a bit under what we anticipated, which is a great sign, and we just kicked this run's butt! Despite the FREEZING temps, the nasty wind, and a little GI issues, I was able to finish on a great kick up and over the hills, with plenty of gas in the tank. Starting to fuzz hard by the end, but considering I only used 3 Roctanes, I feel great about this run. The key is in the Cheez-Its. Special thanks as always to the fantastic DFMC volunteers - NONE of this would have been possible without their assistance, especially today. Also, thanks to the police departments in Wellesley and Newton for stopping traffic on the carriage road and the major intersections! You guys and gals rock! Great run, CAN'T WAIT for taper and Boston. Maybe more later on?!
