Hey Scott, yes it was much tougher in winter than in summer when I ran the 24 on the same trail. In 3 weeks we want to run the entire Hillary trail which is 74 km (Same terrain, about 4000 meter vertical incline in total :)Next week I am going to try on a 50 km trail around the same coast line. It is going to hurt and we think it is going to take around double the time :) But the trails around our Westcoast are just amazing :)
