    I got a chance to run trails with a really great bunch of people. That's the main prize right there. The trails in the upper peninsula are beautiful !

    Cool and spitting rain. In other words, weather only runners could love. Legs o lead, but put fartleks in there, some short intense ones, and medium longer ones.

      Speaking of running and food... I stopped by my boyfriend's work (as usual) on my way home from running in the evenings through my neighborhood, since it's less than .25M from home.... They had a giant tasty watermelon they picked up earlier today to snack on, so that was a nice post run treat/suprise. I usually don't like watermelon too much, but this one was very good and tasty too.

      Jessica at the end of the hell ride they serve watermelon that has been sitting in a giant bucket of ice. It is amazingly refreshing!

  12. Pet peeve- ppl that always complain they are not getting faster, but 1). Train like crazy and are constantly tired 2). Drink soda and eat crappy food and won't change their habits!

    Super humid run yet felt good (compared to icy cold wind on a 0 degree day lol!). I'm not sure why all the deer are out, but I saw 8 of them!
