Set out with a mind to run 4 - miles barefoot, some in vibrams, and maybe a little barefoot towards the end. Got to 6 and decided to carry on...and on...and on! Things started to got a little tender after 10 miles but I decided to go for it.
I used a few front lawns for the last half mile which were bliss.
About 90% roads and pavement, 5% off road and 5% grass. Energy levels were much better than the last week's 13 miles in vibrams - I just drank water with no gels or food.
Feet feel good, and soles should be fine come tomorrow.
I had aimed for this distance barefoot much later in the year though!
