Much faster than I was expecting as my legs were a bit dead after all the cycling I have done this week. Really happy with this run. Felt good.

Good commute, Heather! We have a lot of bikers here, too, but it's not as friendly a bike city as Portland, Oregon to the south of us. I would love it if most of us could eschew our cars for trips shorter than 20 miles/32k and have bikes be the major source of vehicular traffic.

Full stroke down and then lift the elbow high but drag your fingers across the top of the water as you prepare for the next stroke.

The first 6 km felt fine but after that it became a bit of a slog. Glad I have got it done just as the clouds are beginning to roll in. Note to self.....need to keep up with regular long runs.
