18˚C (64˚F) Lovely evening run nice gentle and cool breeze. Low sun angle. Clear air. Just lovely.

Update on the dog bit story. Animal control called... the dog's shots are up to date so no shots for me. Woo Hoo! The bit on my leg is healing nicely... still looks nasty to people but its a much better looking nasty now than a week ago.

The leg is still having a bit of a tightness around the bit site and a little pit of tenderness pain on my down hill segments... but overall its doing great. I just wish the whole "parade" didn't happen so I could have stayed on my restarted training program... now I'm another week and a half behind... sigh.

*sigh* dang dog owners. Hopefully they'll keep that dog inside the yard next time. So glad the shots are up to date but sad you're missing your training.
I finally have a 13/14 mile route that's free of dogs (well, 2 dogs but they are INSIDE the electric fences) The owner of the dog that tried to bite me has an electric fence now and the other one has always had an electric fence but it still scares me that they might get out.
Your run sounds heavenly!!! Just the right kinda running weather.

The only "free running" dog on my running loop are a pair of "Sheep Dogs" that are behind one of the "invisible fences"... since they stop charging at me a good 15 feet before getting "to me"... I'm working on the idea that the "invisible fence" works.

I'm trying! :) but when he starts running towards me, I stop. Can't help myself! He's a huge dog!
