great Stephen's Hill Loop in reverse 7.31 km 00:46 10:03 pace

45˚F ( 7.2˚C ) - Nice run. Pushed a little on my pace pretty much throughout the run and got one of my better times so far. Surprisingly, I don't feel like I pushed any hard now that the run's done... read more

great Reverse Stephen's hill loop 7.43 km 00:48 10:25 pace

54˚F ( 12.2˚C ) - A "Mix it up" night by running my current loop in reverse. This put the big hill more in the middle of the run versus near the end. I think I like it that way.

Hear, hear! I couldn't have said it better.

Nobody can MAKE you do anything, you have to want to do it for yourself, then it's easy to be inspired and stay motivated.

47˚F (8.3˚C) - Nice twilight, post rain, run. The sky was a much more typical Pacific Northwest evening dark with clouds establishing an almost "melancholy" feel to the weather.

@Ines: a Head Lamp/Torch is a personal thing I suspect. Me personally, I don't like them for running or hiking because they end up lighting up my foggy breath and making it hard for me to see. However, I'm quite fond of them for caving and doing DIY projects (I find them very very helpful for car maintenance projects.)

Excellent run, Bo! Sounds so beautiful out.. Any tips on someone who is afraid to run in the dark? There are times that the only time I get to work out is in the dark... I'm getting tired of the TM for any longer than 2 miles.
