    blah National 25 Mile Time Trial C... 25 mi 01:07 22.5mph pace

Not at my best and very, very, very, very windy. The 7 miles into a direct headwind was a killer as were the very gusty sidewinds. Only 4 miles with the wind behind. A circuit, single carriageway, ... read more

A good ride. Others riding as recov ride, so I was glad about that as I needed to ride in big gear. Once got to Gt Missenden lowest gear was 53/19 (up the hills) and pushing 53/11 as much as possib... read more

great Social Ride just for fun 53 mi 03:30 15.1mph pace

07:35 start meant that I still had the rest of the day. Four of us rode and it was just for fun. Can't remember the last time I just *rode* my bike. That said, it was a big chainring ride all ... read more

Nice fun riding. With being ill I have only just seen your results for the National 10 and the Charlottes 50, gee Andrea superb performances and hell of a pace for both rides, the winter training is really paying off.

    great Swim Intervals 1650 m 00:45 43:53 pace

First swim intervals in ages and I was beyond rubbish but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had to use a pull buoy because of the sinking legs problem and they still wouldn't properly float, but never ... read more

    National 10 Mile Time Trial C... 10 mi 00:26 23.3mph pace

A circuit course on bumpy country lanes with several left turns. Not a fast dual carriageway. This was my first 10 of the year.

Keep at it Andrea! It is a shame how life can be so unaccommodating for cycling some times though :( You've done enough work for it to pay off next weekend I'm sure

Thanks Katie. I'm feeling better now. Had a really good training ride on Tues, an easy ride yesterday and so it's game-on for the race tomorrow. As long as I can catch a couple of people before me, I'll be happy and I won't I won't be last :)

Really good ride Andrea, savour it. When Lynne does about 2-10 it's a very tough day. You are on the way now, that super fast finish with the wind isnt easy when you've already been battling for over 2 hours! 37.4 mph(over 60kph) top speed is a real step forward too, as no real downhill, just a big gear 54/11 and following strong wind.. Looking forward to more please.
btw, the event has been organised by the Charlotteville CC since 1929, when they took it over from Etna CC !
