alright Thu ride 33.64 mi 02:06 16.0mph pace

Really good ride Andrea, savour it. When Lynne does about 2-10 it's a very tough day. You are on the way now, that super fast finish with the wind isnt easy when you've already been battling for over 2 hours! 37.4 mph(over 60kph) top speed is a real step forward too, as no real downhill, just a big gear 54/11 and following strong wind.. Looking forward to more please.
btw, the event has been organised by the Charlotteville CC since 1929, when they took it over from Etna CC !

@Katie. Thanks :) Yes, it went ok. First race of the year, on 2nd& only 2nd time I've ridden new tt bike. I was pretty happy tho I did discover my back wheel was buckled & rubbing on the back brake though so that slowed me down a bit (prob 1mph av spd) - no wonder it felt like such hard work! Wheel fixed now so hoping to be faster next time :)

Hehe! Thanks guys! And Kev, it takes a lot to keep you in so the wind up there must've been worse. I rode the Nat 50 last year in gusting 62mph winds and torrential rain & was terrified (for the first lap) - not nice!
