So after spending Saturday working out with Jen B. and this morning running with Melodie P. I have realized that I need to find more mediocre friends. These two amazing ladies go above and beyond and I'm really starting to get a complex from it. LOL Just kidding. I'm extremely blessed to have such kind, supportive friends helping me on my journey.
Today's run was decent. Had some walk breaks but counted those in my time. Really pushed my pace for the first 3 miles and the last mile but with all the walking the average still is ok for me. My plan says this is taper week but honestly when a plan says to run 7 miles and bike 50 miles I call bull**it. ;)

Great run! It is hard not to be a tiny bit disappointed in your own ability when surrounded by such amazing women - BUT - I have been reading your posts for a long time now and you absolutely need to include yourself in that list of amazing women. Your posts inspire me!! Come run with me and I guarantee you would feel like the superior runner ;-).

Hey, no more self deprication, ya hear?! You've put in the work, you know you can cover the distance, all that's left is to believe in yourself. And I think I race like a HIM kinda deserves a bull**it taper ;). Nice run this morning!
