  3. RUN
    alright Battlefield 8 mi 01:21 10:06 pace

Forgot to bring a drink with me so by mile 7 I was really dragging. Also went later then I normally would because of church and the battlefield was packed with tourist.

Why can't people pay attention to their dogs when they know that their yard is not fenced in? I am so sick of having to stop because of this!

I know - then when you look at them funny they make some sort of stupid comment like, "Oh, she/he is friendly." Like that helps as my heart already jumped into my throat as I was trying to figure out if I have enough energy to run away or just give up and let the dog bite me.

There is a street that I used to love to run on but I can't because there is a huge Akita that they keep out in the front yard.

Are you training for a race or just running for health and fitness... Just curious. How is running on the battlefield? I just started to run through Antietam, it is really hilly! :-)

  6. FIT
    blah Body Pump 01:00

Haven't done Pump in 3 weeks because of the marathon and I pulled something (while sleeping) in my upper back. My right side is weaker when doing chest, triceps, and shoulders.

    Very windy!!

Felt good to get out and run. Next week I start training for the Frederick Half. I want to beat my PR of 2:15. I just hope it doesn't get too hot. 80 degrees for March 23rd is a tad bit ex... read more

I heard it was brutal hot last year? I'm hoping for unseasonal coolness on race day :).

good Yuengling Shamrock Marathon 26.34 mi 04:32 10:18 pace

Good and bad. The good is that I got a new PR. The bad is now I have to beat it in October. I love this race. J and A racing really know how to run an event.

good Lake Heritage 3 mi 00:30 09:54 pace

75 degrees and I thought it was too hot. I hope it doesn't get that warm on Sunday. Right now the forecast is for a high of 58 and cloudy. I can deal with that.

  13. RUN
Lake Heritage Tempo Run 5 mi 00:47 09:28 pace

Last hard run before the marathon. I think it is safe to say I do not have to worry about snow. It is 55 here in South Central PA in the weather in Virginia Beach should be better.

I am looking forward to getting away without our daughter as well even if it's only because we are both running. Of course I feel just as bad when I drag the whole family along because Mom has a race to do :)
