The long road back begins with one step..... OK my dailymile friends I have spent the last 3 months working the elliptical and stretching (thanks Mel P) to get my legs and knee back into running shape. I have missed running terribly but working 100 + hours a week was excuse enough for me to put it aside, little did I know I needed it as much as an escape As my brain needed it to help my restless mind to relax and just think for the time I run. I will be taking it slow over the next couple of weeks to ease into it and not risk injury. This is hard as hell to not hop on dm and talk about knocking out a 10 mile trail run but in time I will be back to that. Looking forward to re connecting with all of you. Cheers!
