      The diet is always a bit of trial and error, tweaking things here and there until you find something that works and that you can keep up. Nice run aside from the skirt issues!

      While I am a guy :), higher protein than in the past has done wonders for retaining muscle as I do longer runs and keeping fat from coming on (a problem with me with mileage). A lot of my carbs are actually coming from stuff like beans and greens nowadays. Keep it up!

  5. Woo, just registered for a Thanksgiving 5k. I'm low-key proud that this will be my third year in a row doing one. A charity Thanksgiving 5k makes so much sense to me. Looking forward to it.

    Some unexpected free time so I did a bit more than I would have otherwise. A few little sprints to try to wake those running muscles back up a bit. Some knee pain disappeared with squats, yay.
