    Let me tell you about rain. Big fat rain, itty bitty rain, sideways rain and wind, lots of wind. It was the craziest (in terms of weather) run I've ever done. Oh, it was also a PR!

    This was by far the most difficult marathon I've ever run but I felt pretty good afterwards considering what we had to run through and how long it took. All that training has definitely paid off!

    Last "long" run before the Bellingham trail marathon next weekend. Was hilly but over-all felt pretty good and no problems with my achilles which was great. Looking forward to next week!

    Supposed to go for a 9 miler but my achilles started hurting 10 yards in. Tried to see if it would warm up or go away but after .5 miles it was clear it would not. Frustrated and in pain.
