This was a great run. I started out planning to run five miles and it was so nice I just kept running. The wind was to my back going out and I thought my pace was really good. On the return trip the wind seemed to pick up more and I thought a negative split would be out of reach. Not so fast--I got the negative split by more than a minute. I was very happy and felt very very strong.
Not sure what caused me to feel so good--other than the two days off from any exercise due to other commitments more than laziness--just couldn't bring myself to run in the dark. I guess this should be a lesson, but will I listen?
