    Practice Practice Practice. Used some new hand paddles as well as the X1 audio system...pretty awesome..attaches to the back of your goggles so it doesn't get in the way...I'm in love.

    Vineman Preview 60.4 mi 03:47 16.0mph pace

    1596ft of elevation...seemed more difficult than the Uvas course..maybe cause the roads are in such bad shape but based on the elevation from strava it would seem comparable.

    Vineman Preview--water was way too shallow...had to walk some and dog paddle at times..but at least I got to get an idea of the temperature and current.

    Didn't want to go but I realize how important it is to get in these practices. Sets of 100 with about 30 seconds of rest-working on stroke.

    A little slower out there today...wasn't feeling it..maybe the run before didn't help and of course not being consistant with my swimming. Need to remember this needs to be a priority!

    Saving $5 by parking a little farther away from Quarry Lake. Running with my backpack while it sliced into the back of my neck was not fun..don't think it was worth saving $5!

      You have to become a member for $65...covers the year and gets you free swimming too...maybe they won't ask for a picture ID or something and we can split the cost and just leave the pass at work so we both have access to it
