Somehow, getting up at 4:45 is harder than getting up at 3 on a Friday morning. Regardless, I finally convinced my legs to get up and to enjoy the rest of my recovery week. I took off and started with the route that I had planned on doing during what would have been my 16 last week and just focused on keeping things slow and maintaining my form.
Enjoyable run (yeah for lower humidity) and great way to keep moving on a Friday morning. My splits were all over the board since I kept trying to keep things slow and sometimes my legs didn't want to do that. I did purposefully speed up for the last half mile and was happy to see a pace start to creep toward the 8:20s after the distance.

Nice run!

Cindy, I don't know that I'll ever be used to getting up this early. I just do. For the longest time, I refused to get up before 5, so I set my alarm clock 52 minutes fast so that I wouldn't have to. Now...my alarm is my cell phone, so that doesn't work at all. =)
