This morning I had the privilege to run/walk the final legs of the Burning River 100 Mile Endurance Race with a good friend of mine. I know he was hurting and I know he was looking forward to the end, but he completed 100 miles! I was able to watch the transformation within as he completed each mile. I am so super proud of him and of Peter A. that I could burst.
This run/walk completed a 24-hour period that showed me what the human spirit can do across a variety of circumstances and it was amazing to be a part of it.
