Day 2 of sleeping through a workout! Egads, hopefully tomorrow I will be awake enough to enjoy it more. I headed out for a "modified" speed work run just to see how things felt. 1 mile warm up and then 1/2 mile speed work and 1/4 mile recovery. The first recovery was at a jog, but the others were at a walking pace, so pulling off a 9:06 average has me dancing a jig. It felt good to get the legs moving back at my former pace and to give myself new goals.
